Official Heroes of Might and Magic III Remake Links

Wishlist pages and publisher news, kept separate from rumour blogs.

Official Links

Use this page when you want the remake itself, not a lookalike SKU. Every storefront below should show Heroes of Might and Magic III Remake and a 2027 window. If you see “this is the original version of the game from 1999,” you have opened Complete Edition by mistake. Return to compare editions.

Storefronts

  • SteamHeroes of Might and Magic III Remake (app 3809850). Wishlist here for the PC client. The news hub on this app is also where Ubisoft posted “Welcome Back to Erathia.”
  • Ubisoft Store / Ubisoft Connect — the publisher storefront named in the announcement, also the home of Ubisoft+ access at launch.
  • Epic Games Store — listed as a PC path in the same announcement.
  • PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series — console wishlists via the platform stores. The announcement framed them as day-one platforms, not later ports.
  • Hub URL — Ubisoft has pointed at mightandmagic.com/HMM3R in trailer descriptions as a central wishlist bounce.

The 1999 Complete Edition lives on a different Steam app. It is a legitimate product and a good practice client. It is not the remake. The HD Edition is a third app. Olden Era is a fourth. Bookmark 3809850 if you are the person in the group who gets asked “which one.”

Publisher news

  • Ubisoft’s article Heroes of Might and Magic III Remake: Return to Erathia in 2027 is the canonical feature list: Snowdrop, nine factions, expansions, eight players, editors, UGC.
  • Steam news on app 3809850 is the blog series. The first post promised later entries on visuals, quality-of-life, UGC, and technical topics. That is the feed to follow. The updates hub on this wiki exists to summarise those posts, not to replace them.

Steam lists twelve interface languages for the remake. Full audio is currently English and Simplified Chinese; French, German, Spanish (Spain), Italian, Czech, Japanese, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, and Traditional Chinese are UI and subtitles. This wiki covers English, French, German, and Spanish.

The Steam store page also lists a publisher Discord (discord.gg/GH9WuADJE) plus X, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitch under the Might and Magic name. Those are useful for trailer embeds and not useful for patch-level truth until they link back to a blog. If a social post disagrees with the Steam news hub, the hub wins.

What we are not linking

Random Discord invites, key resellers, and “leak” documents. If Ubisoft names a community Discord or a forum, it will go here. Map archives for 1999 files still matter for the map editor workflow; they are community preservation, not official support, and they will be added only with clear labelling.

For hands-on coverage rather than publisher copy, switch to the preview roundup. For the year and the platform list in wiki form, stay on release date. For how to spend the next twelve months, stay on getting started. Official links are how you verify. The rest of the wiki is how you prepare.

How to sanity-check a URL in 2027

Before you click a “HMM3R keys” listing or a mirrored trailer, match three strings: the word Remake, the year 2027, and app 3809850 or the Ubisoft Store equivalent. If the page talks about GOG extras, HD mods, or Horn of the Abyss, you have left the remake. If it talks about new factions that are not in the faction overview, you have entered Olden Era or a mod. If it promises a day inside 2027 without linking Steam news, treat it as noise until the release page moves. Publisher URLs can still be wrong — the first Complete Edition package proved that — which is why this page prefers the news hub over a random social embed. Bookmark the store, follow the blog, and let the updates hub summarise. That is the entire official-link workflow until a patch notes document exists.
